Compress before you upload

Build the extension with npm run build:extension. In Chrome, open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and choose Load unpacked → dist-extension.

1. Open the website where you want to upload images.
2. Click the Picora extension icon to enable it for this tab.
3. Choose images in the website’s file input. Picora shows a review panel before the site receives any files.
4. Choose quality and size, then “Compress & attach”, or keep the original files.

Images stay on your device during compression. When you attach them, the destination website receives the files and handles its own upload. Custom drag-and-drop uploaders may not use standard file inputs.
